How to read these labels. Confirmed — Stated by Blizzard at BlizzCon or in official material. Strong signal — Datamined, or consistent across every previous Classic launch. Usually right. Speculative — Our read. Reasoned, but not fact, and we will say so when it turns out wrong. Unknown — Nobody has said. We are not going to pretend otherwise.
The Highborne thread
The Shen’dralar are the Highborne sorcerers sealed inside Dire Maul, and Forever’s new race — the Skyborne — is also Highborne-descended. That is not a coincidence. Two of the four new zones are built on the same thread of night elf history, which suggests the Highborne are the spine of Forever’s story rather than a set piece.
What "comparable to Razorfen Kraul" tells you
It is a specific comparison and worth reading closely. Razorfen Kraul is a compact, winding outdoor-feeling dungeon in the high 20s — not a sprawling zone. If Shen’dralas plays like that, expect a dense, self-contained area rather than a Riverglades-sized frontier, and expect it to matter more for the story and its dungeon than for levelling throughput.
Spelling
Blizzard’s panel recap writes the zone as Shen’dralas while the existing lore faction is the Shen’dralar. Coverage uses both. We will settle on whatever the client uses once the beta is up.
